Construction is underway and liquor license application is posted on the upcoming new Mexican restaurant, Casa Martin moving into the old Detelich Gallery space at 1654 Ocean Ave, unit B in Santa Monica, which seems an odd location until you consider that the Village at Santa Monica, the multi-million dollar residential and commercial complex is going in across the street (SantaMonicaVillage). Very little information out there yet, except the name of the man behind the venture, Fernando Martin. I’ll keep you posted as more develops…

That is great!!! I live and work near there and I can’t wait to visit a FAMILY OWNED Mexican restaurant! I’m tired of all these corporations that don’t provide that true home style family attention, service, and a true authentic Mexican food. I visited all the neighboring restaurants near this location and it’s all owned by corporations. I always prefer to visit a family owned business because they provide the best service and spoil you with a lot of attention. I CAN’T WAIT!!!!
