Beloved spicy poultry purveyor Dave’s Hot Chicken is continuing their expansion across LA. There’s plywood up on one of the spaces in the food court of the Westfield Century City Shopping Center announcing their arrival. Dave’s Hot Chicken began in an East Hollywood parking lot in 2017 and quickly became an Instagram darling serving “juicy, spicy, hot chicken” that is “mind-blowing”.

Wow – hard to believe Chick Fil A and Shake Shack are OK with this. Hard to see them all co-existing 100 feet from each other.

Similar vibes to Pop’s Bagels, Popup Bagels, and Layla Bagels all opening within a couple blocks of each other on San Vicente in Brentwood. Pop’s already kicked the bucket. Hard not to envision a similar outcome here.
