Beloved local institution Howdy’s Taqueria used to reside in the Country Mart.  Apparently the owner, Howdy Kabrins, shuttered the eatery due to some personal reasons that you can read about in this article.  But Howdy’s is coming back to Malibu.  The new location is in the new The Park at Cross Creek development at 23401 Civic Center Dr.  We wish them the best of luck.
