Good news Century City, donuts are heading your way! The little kiosk on the second floor of the Westfield Century City Shopping Center, near Zinqué, has been the home to a number of different projects including Brandini Toffee and most recently Brique French Toastery. Window paper recently went up proclaiming a new tenant. Cafe Knotted is planning on dishing fresh donuts from this location starting in April.
It appears that bakeshop Peace of Cake will be getting a permanent home in a second-floor kiosk of Westfield Century City, previously occupied by Brique and Brandini Toffee before that. They had a pop-up in this season’s Holiday Market at the shopping center. Peace of Cake offers customizable cakes with various fillings, frostings, and drizzles. Take a peek at their menu below at the Holiday Market to get an idea of the concept. They’re shooting for a Winter 2024 opening in their new location.
About a year and a half ago, I told you about the appearance of Brique French Toastery on the ground floor of The Westfield Century City Shopping Center, directly underneath Del Frisco’s. They recently gave up that location, but all is not lost. They will be moving to a new location on the second floor, near Din Tai Fun. Until then, Brique has a temporary space in a kiosk near California Pizza Kitchen where you can still get your hands on their proprietary “Rock Toast” (thick cut brioche French toast topped with proprietary peanut butter coconut maple syrup, toasted coconut chips, and vanilla whipped cream).
While no one was looking, a new confectionary spot has arrived to the Westfield Century City Shopping Center. Almost overnight, Brique French Toastery has appeared on the ground floor, directly underneath Del Frisco’s. And what is that? Their menu appears to be singular: “Rock Toast” which is thick cut brioche French toast topped with proprietary peanut butter coconut maple syrup, toasted coconut chips, and vanilla whipped cream.
