The Ugly Pie Company Coming Very Soon To El Segundo
Back in December, signs went up on the space at 2161B El Segundo Blvd. next to Farmer Boys in the old fire station announcing an outpost of Long Beach’s Toppings Custom Fired Pizza. Looks like things have changed. Instead, a brand new venture The Ugly Pie Company is taking over the space. This will be their first restaurant with their eyes on eventual expansion. Look for a menu of custom pizza ready in 90 seconds, salads, Lavazza Coffee, and eventually beer and wine. They are shooting for an April 1st opening and you can check out a YouTube video explaining the company here.

Farmer Boys Now Open In El Segundo
To those of you who have been closely following this story comes this welcome news: After what seemed like an extraordinary amount of time, the Westside’s very first outpost of burger and breakfast chain Farmer Boys opens today (Monday, Jan. 6th) in the repurposed fire department at 2161 E. Farmer Boys Coming Soon To El Segundo
With 72 locations throughout California and Nevada (albeit mostly far east and south of Downtown LA), breakfast and burger chain Farmer Boys is making its first inroad into West LA. Known for its generous portions, the new restaurant is taking over a repurposed fire department outpost at 2161 E. El Segundo Blvd. (corner of Nash) in El Segundo, a city quickly adapting to meet the noontime meal requirements of the aerospace industry. Look for a May opening.
