It looks like poultry purveyor Chick-fil-A is continuing its relentless conquest of LA. A massive space is being cleared for the new restaurant at 740 N Sepulveda in El Segundo. According to the Daily Breeze, the planning documents reveal that the new “single-story 4,996 square-foot restaurant will seat up to 118 people and include an outdoor patio”. I first noticed that poultry purveyor Chick-fil-A was remodeling the old Taco Bell at 2207 Lincoln Blvd. back in December of last year. Ever since then, I have been astonished at the great number of you who are constantly checking for updates. So, to you dedicated fans of their signature chicken sandwich I deliver this happy news: Chick-fil-A officially threw open their doors at 6:30am this morning.
Taco Bell closed down its location at 2207 Lincoln Blvd. in Santa Monica a few months back and I ‘ve been watching to see what would move in. Now we know. An extensive reconstruction of the building is underway to make room for Santa Monica’s first branch of well-known poultry pusher Chick-fil-A, who are slowly but surely conquering the Westside.

To those of you (and there are a whole lot of you) who have been closely following the impending opening of super popular and occasionally controversial Chick-fil-A just to the west of the 405 at 11750 Jefferson in West LA (corner of Mesmer), comes this happy news: Chick-fil-A will officially be throwing open its doors this Thursday, December 4th. Lines could be tough, and they’re asking you to bring a tent (!), but you’ll be rewarded with their signature sandwiches, games, and a chance to win free food for a year.
Looks like the sometimes-controversial purveyor of poultry sandwiches, Chick-fil-A is coming soon to Culver City. Construction is underway and signs are up on corner of Jefferson and Mesmer, just to the west of the 405. No word on an opening date yet…
