Yes, Culver City, high-end groceries are heading your way! Popular (if pricey) natural foods market and place to be seen Erewhon continues its expansion with a new location at 9300 Culver Blvd. (in The Culver Steps complex). An ABC application went up just this week confirming the news.

Many of you grieved when I told you about the closure of the much-beloved Williams Sonoma at 339 N Beverly Dr. Wasting no time, window coverings are informing us that this location will eventually be an outpost of popular (if pricey) natural foods grocer Erewhon. It appears that they are taking their time: They’re shooting for an opening next year.
It was only back in April when I first told you about the demise of Vintage Market in the flashy new Palisades Village in Pacific Palisades. Signs quickly went up telling us that natural foods grocer-to-the-stars Erewhon was intent on moving in. Wasting no time whatsoever, Erewhon officially threw open its doors yesterday, June 5th.
When the upscale Vintage Market recently vacated its space in the sparkling new Palisades Village in Pacific Palisades, it left a considerable hole at the front of the complex. But that’s about to change. According to window notices and the Palisades Village website, the space will soon be the home of posh natural foods grocer Erewhon.
I first noticed that natural foods grocer Erewhon was coming to Santa Monica late last year. After extensive construction, it appears they are about to open. According to the notices pasted on the front, the bright shiny new Erewhon officially opens at 9am on April 11th at 2800 Wilshire Blvd., and features a “beautiful patio, terraced courtyard, and a street-level view of Erewhon’s open kitchen”.
I recently saw a notice at the construction site at 2800 Wilshire Blvd. (corner of Harvard) in Santa Monica that lets us know a branch of natural foods grocer Erewhon in intent on inhabiting the new building. This will be their fourth location. I’ll keep checking their progress, but as you can see, it looks like they’ve got a ways to go before opening.
