Another lunch choice is coming to the hungry aerospace crowd in El Segundo. The new Nash Street Exchange shopping center is currently home to a popular Raising Cane’s, a future Panera Bread, and soon a new contender. A banner over the space at 2150 El Segundo Blvd. is announcing a branch of “American Chinese” mega chain Panda Express.
The shopping center on the Southwest corner of Lincoln and Pico is a very busy place. It caters to a steady stream of students pouring out of nearby SaMo High. Already stacked with fast food options, a new contender appears to be moving in soon. A banner over the space at 1902 Lincoln Suite B is announcing a branch of “American Chinese” restaurant chain Panda Express.
Thanks to a tip from a reader, I went to check out the construction that was underway at 2011 Westwood Blvd. (corner of La Grange) that was the site of a long-defunct Radio Shack. Turns out, the new restaurant will be the future home of a branch of mega-chain Panda Express.
